The interesting long story short here is that my across-the-stateline neighbors JBR Longhorns paid me a visit one day, and made me an offer I couldn't refuse: the dam of a mop top bull I'd had a crush on since first laying eyes on a Trails magazine (Wyoming Warpaint, but that's another story.) Torch had a calf at side named JBR Chrome, sired by the soon to be famous Hunts Command Respect. What's more, she was Al bred to Chuckwagon, another awe-inspiring bull hanging on my bulletin board. I had the McGill bug and it bit me bad. Eventually Torch was the dam of four Yuppie herd sires and prospects, sired by four outstanding bulls, and the dam of a thick based trophy steer prospect. Think of it this way: I use Torch as another breeder uses a senior herd sire. She is in my embryo program, so keep tuned for further announcements of availabilities.
